KL Auschwitz – in the years 1940-1945 - the biggest Nazi concentration and death camp in occupied Europe. Situated at a distance of 70 km from Cracow in the town of Oświęcim. The Auschwitz Memorial Museum (founded in 1947) was included in the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1979. During the tour you will visit both parts of the Museum located in Oświęcim (KL Auschwitz I) and Brzezinka (KL Auschwitz II Birkenau). You will also watch a documentary on the history of the KL Auschwitz concentration and death camp.

Photography and filming on the Museum grounds is permitted exclusively for private, personal use. The imperative of preserving the historical authenticity of the Museum may make it difficult for people with disabilities to move around the grounds and buildings. Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Service Centre - reservation in advance is required. Persons under the influence of alcohol or any other substance are prohibited from entering the Museum grounds. Large items of baggage or backpacks are not permitted on the Museum grounds.
